Covid-19 spike: India witness uptick in Covid cases, logs 640 fresh infections

Covid-19 spike: As per the reports of Union health ministry, India reported fresh Covid-19 infections, bringing the number of active cases to 2,997 from 2,669 in 24 hours.
India’s Covid-19 tally stands at 4.50 crore (4,50,07,212). The death toll climbed to 5,33,328 with one more fatality reported from Kerala, the updated data stated.
According to the health ministry’s website, the number of people who have recuperated from the disease has increased to 4,44,70,887. The national recovery rate stands at 98.81 per cent.
The case fatality rate stands at 1.19 per cent.

Do's
- Always remember to wear mask in crowded and public places
- Doctors, paramedics and other healthcare workers as well as patients and their attendants to wear masks within healthcare facilities
- Cover nose and mouth with handkerchief and tissue while sneezing and coughing
- Practice hand washing. Wash hands with soap and water or use alcohol based hand rub.
- Limit personal contact if suffering from respiratory diseases.
- See a doctor if you feel unwell (fever, cough, difficulty in breathing etc.).
Don'ts
- Avoid overcrowded and poorly ventilated settings particularly by co- morbid persons and the elderly.
- Don’t Spit at public places .
- Avoid Touching surfaces usually used by public (Railing, door, gate).
