Class 3 girl sexually assaulted, murdered by school seniors; body thrown in canal

PTC Web Desk: An eight-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted before being killed by her senior boys in school. The accused are aged 12 and 13. The gruesome incident took place in Nandyala district of Andhra Pradesh. As per the police, three minor accused had been detained. Upon interrogation, they revealed that after allegedly committing the crime, they threw her body in an irrigation canal.

The crime took place in Muchumarri, 300 km from Andhra capital Amaravati. The body of the girl is yet to be recovered.  

It is leant that the girl, who was a student of Class 3, had been missing since Sunday. His father had filed a missing person complaint at the local police station. In his complaint, he said that his daughter had been playing at Muchumarri park when she went missing. He informed the police, which launched a manhunt, but the girl could not be traced. 

The police then took the help of a sniffer dog, who took them to the accused. During questioning, the boys admitted to their crime. They told the police that after seeing the girl playing in the park, they joined her. later, they took her to a secluded area near the Muchumarri dam and took turns to sexually assault her.

They got scared and killed her. The body was thrown in the nearby canal.
