'3% chance of survival, now cancer-free': Navjot Singh Sidhu gives wife's health update

PTC News Desk: Former Indian cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu recently announced that his wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, is cancer-free after a year-long fight with the disease. 

Sidhu expressed relief and gratitude at a press conference. "About 1.5-2 years ago, Noni (Navjot Kaur Sidhu) was diagnosed with cancer. She struggled and ran from pillar to post, and she, I, and everyone else agreed that we were wrong. I didn't find out about it until after the operation. She had stage 4 cancer and was given a 3% chance of survival. Today, I am happy to announce that Noni has been declared clinically cancer-free," he stated.

He continued, "She beat cancer not because we had money, but because she was disciplined and maintained a strict routine. Cancer can be successfully treated even at government hospitals."

Navjot Singh Sidhu was formerly a key figure on Kapil Sharma's renowned talk show, but he left in 2019, and Archana Puran Singh took his place. Over five years later, he returned to Kapil Sharma's new Netflix show, The amazing Indian Kapil Show, where he had a wonderful time, including sitting in his iconic chair. Sidhu discussed his exit from The Kapil Sharma Show in a recent interview with The Grain Talk Show's YouTube channel. "There were political issues I did not wish to discuss. There were more reasons," he explained.
