Caught on camera: Woman rescued from car in Panchkula floods, vehicle swept away
Caught on camera: A car parked near a river in Haryana's Panchkula was swept away on Sunday amid heavy rains in the area.
The woman had reportedly parked her car on the banks of the river in Kharak Mangoli in Panchkula. The car, however, was swept away in the river after the river flooded owing to severe rain. The woman was rescued and sent to a local hospital.
A video of the dramatic rescue of the woman has surfaced.
In the video, the woman can be seen rescued by the locals under extraordinary circumstances when the water levels in the Ghaggar River suddenly surged and extremely powerful tides washed the car away.
According to reports, the woman had gone to a neighbouring temple and was sitting inside her car when the ferocious flood current came storming after a sudden surge in water levels.
