Who will succeed Jay Shah as BCCI secretary ?

PTC News Desk: BCCI secretary Jay Shah is all set to assume the chairmanship of International Cricket Council (ICC). Before he takes the charge, Shah will be stepping down from his current position as BCCI secretary paving way for other candidates to take the roll.
Notably, Shah was elected unopposed as the chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) earlier this year. He will officially step into this esteemed position on December 1, 2024 and will succeed Greg Barclay.
With Shah's tenure nearing its end, the question arising is who will be the next secretary of the organisation. Amongst many names, Rohan Jaitley who is the president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), has emerged as the frontrunner to become the new BCCI secretary.
Rohan Jaitley is the son of late Arun Jaitley, former Finance minister of India. Currently, Jaitley is serving as the President of Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Besides Jaitley, another name emerging is of Anil Patel who is the secretary of the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA).
