Bada Siddique murder case: Cops arrest prime accused from UP, admits Bishnoi gang association
The accused has been identified as Shiv Kumar Gautam who has been on the run ever since the murder and was planning to flee to Nepal. Shiv Kumar also admitted his association with notorious Bishnoi gang.
PTC News Desk: In a major development in Bada Siddique's murder case, cops have apprehended prime accused, the man who shots NCP leader from Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich. The accused has been identified as Shiv Kumar Gautam who has been on the run ever since the murder and was planning to flee to Nepal. Shiv Kumar also admitted his association with notorious Bishnoi gang and revealed that he carried out the murder on the directions of Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi.
Shiv Kumar also stated that his contact with Anmol Bishnoi was facilitated multiple times by Shubham Lonkar, who is believed to be a close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi.
Four others -- Anurag Kashyap, Gyan Prakash Tripathi, Akash Srivastava and Akhileshendra Pratap Singh - have also been arrested for harbouring Shivkumar. 23 people in total have been arrested in the case so far.
Earlier the Mumbai police stated that Anmol Bishnoi was in contact with the shooters of Bada Siddique. Both of them communicated via social media platform snapchat.
