Amitabh Bachchan acquires land in Ayodhya: Big B, renowned actor, celebrity icon and superstar Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly purchased a land in a prestigious seven-star enclave in sacred town Ayodhya ahead of the inauguration of magnificent Ram Mandir which is slated to take place on January 22, 2024.
It has been reported that the Big B purchased a land in The Sarayu, a 7-star mixed-use enclave in Ayodhya by Mumbai-based developer The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) which has been estimated at Rs 14.5 crore.
Though the specific details about the property have not been disclosed but it has been reported that superstar intends to build a property measured around 10,000 square feet.

The Sarayu spanning 51 acres, is scheduled for formal inauguration on January 22, coinciding with the grand consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
The land is located approximately 15 minutes away from the Ram Temple and half an hour from the airport and the full fledged project has been expected to be completed by March 2028 which will also include the five-star palace hotel.

Notably, Amitabh Bachchan is known to own several properties in various locations, including Mumbai. He has a residence named "Jalsa" in Juhu, Mumbai, which is well-known and often featured in the media. As per the reports, Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan own five bunglows in the Juhu- Vile Parle Development Scheme. They also own two flats in Juhu, an apartment in France, and a flat in Gurgaon. Legend also owns several other properties in different parts of the country.
About Ram Mandir Inauguration
- The consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmobhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya will be held over a span of seven days starting from January 16 to January 22, 2024.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the Ram Lalla's idol at the grand temple.
- A priest from Varanasi, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, will perform the main rituals of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22
- Ayodhya will mark the Amrit Mahotsa from January 14 to January 22.
