'AK-47s from Pakistan, attack on his farmhouse': How Lawrence Bishnoi gang planned Salman Khan's murder?

PTC News Desk: The Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly conspired to strike Salman Khan's car in Maharashtra's Panvel, said Navi Mumbai Police, unveiling yet another plot to assassinate the Bollywood actor.

The Navi Mumbai Police have filed an FIR and arrested four people connected to the conspiracy. This comes after an incident on April 14, when two bike-riding men opened fire outside Khan's home in Mumbai's Bandra.

Police sources claim that jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, along with his cousin Anmol Bishnoi who lives in Canada and associate Goldie Brar, acquired M-16s, AK-47s, and other high-caliber weapons from a Pakistani arms dealer. It was intended to attack Khan's farmhouse or set up an ambush on his car.

Following the shooting incident outside Khan's Bandra home, police detained four suspects on April 26 - Anuj Thapan and another person were held in Punjab, while Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were captured in Gujarat. Six people have been taken into custody, but Anuj Thapan died while in police custody.

Thapan's death and its circumstances have come under intense investigation. The "incomplete" autopsy report that was presented enraged the Bombay High Court, which claims that it did not include important information like a "diagram of the ligature mark" that was found on Thapan's neck and details about any additional injuries that might have been sustained.
