Crackdown on Bishnoi gang; 7 shooters arrested from Punjab, Haryana
Seven shooters associated with the gang have been arrested across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi in the past 48 hours
PTC News Desk: In a major crackdown over Bishnoi gang, seven shooters associated with the gang have been arrested across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi in the past 48 hours who are linked to the firing outside Salman Khan's residence and Baba Siddique's murder.
The operation was conducted by Delhi Police's Special Cell claimed as "pan-India" action and six semi-automatic weapons and ammunition were also recovered from those nabbed.
The arrests come days after the chilling murder of former Maharashtra Minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique for which Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility. The accused are being interrogated in murder case as well as other operations of Bishnoi gang.
The officials have claimed that the shooters were planning to target someone in Rajasthan on the orders of Arzoo Bishnoi, who is a close associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The arrest is a small development in the vast criminal syndicate run by Lawrence Bishnoi who from behind the bars.
