13 illegal coaching centres sealed in Delhi after 3 UPSC aspirants die in flooding
Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has closed at least 13 "illegal" coaching centres in Delhi's Old Rajinder Nagar after three UPSC aspirants died in the flooded basement of a coaching institute in the same neighbourhood.

PTC News Desk: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has closed at least 13 "illegal" coaching centres in Delhi's Old Rajinder Nagar after three UPSC aspirants died in the flooded basement of a coaching institute in the same neighbourhood.
The civic body's action, which lasted till late Sunday night, began after three students, Tania Soni, Shreya Yadav, and Navin Delvin, were killed when water unexpectedly flowed into the basement of Rau's IAS Study Circle on Saturday evening.
The coaching facilities that were sealed are:

"These coaching centres were found to be operating in basements in violation of the rules, and they were sealed on the spot and notices were pasted," stated MCD Mayor Shaili Oberoi in an order.
The Rau's IAS Study Circle has already been sealed by police, and the owner and coordinator have been arrested and charged with culpable homicide.
