Punjab Assembly elections 2022:
Shiromani Akali Dal's N.K.Sharma who contested the Punjab Assembly elections 2022 from the Dera Bassi constituency. He was elected to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha in 2012 and 2017. He has served as the Chief Parliamentary Secretary in Government of Punjab, Chairman Distt. Planning Board SAS Nagar and member of House Committee of Punjab Vidhan Sabha (2018-19). However, he lost the battle as he bagged only 47731 votes.
