Moga: Abducted child recovered and reunited with his parents; 4 held
A four-year-old boy went through a singular grotesque transaction when he was abducted from Moga and was sold off to a Kapurthala man for Rs 1.5 lakh. Those three days were traumatic for him as he didn’t know, that where did he actually belong to. His real parents were taking help of the police to find their son while his foster parents were trying to conceal him from the police. But, truth prevailed when the abducted child was recovered and reunited with his biological parents and the police arrested the main culprits.

The police has recovered a four-year-old-boy who was abducted from Moga three days ago. It has also arrested the 4 abductors including two women in this case.

Briefing the media, the police told that the child (Farmaan Mohammad), living in a slum area on the Zira road was abducted by Nitin, Sunny and Preeti and Kulwinder Kaur. They all belonged to Moga only. The child was abducted in a car (Honda Amaze) bearing Delhi registration number.

The child was then sold to Dalwinder Singh of Kapurthala, for Rs 1.5 lakh. He prepared legal papers to adopt the child. Kulwinder Kaur told Dalwinder Singh that she was the mother of this four-year-old child.

With the help of the CCTV cameras, the police managed to trace the car used in the crime. The car was purchased by Nitin, one of the abductors. Through it, the police cracked the case.

The police further told that the media that it has handed over the child to his real parents after medical examination.

Maybe it was just a plain abduction case, but the real story begins now for the child. Is he ready for a post-abduction phase in his life? How will he be able to fight this post-traumatic emotional sequel? What happens to the mind of the child? Will that child ever going to recover fully?
