Miss PTC Punjabi 2022 row: PTC Network denies any relation with Nancy Ghumman; says those proving this will be rewarded

Chandigarh, April 2: PTC Network on Saturday issued a statement with regard to a controversy involving 'Miss PTC Punjabi 2022' contest. Notably, for the past few days, an FIR copy has been going viral on various social media platforms as well as digital channels alleging a nexus of Nancy Ghumman and Bhupinder Singh with PTC Network. Also read | India Covid update: 1,260 fresh cases in last 24 hours In a statement, PTC Network has made it clear that it has nothing to do either with Nancy Ghumman or Bhupinder Singh and that all allegations with regard to sexual harassment faced by a contestant during 'Miss Punjabi 2022' contest are baseless and  frivolous. PTC Network has clarified that both these persons named in the FIR have never been part of their company and that these allegations are meant to malign the image of the channel. "If anyone has any evidence that Nancy Ghumman and Bhupinder Singh are.were associated with PTC Network, the company will reward that person with Rs 1 lakh," says PTC Network statement. PTC Network has appealed to Nancy Ghumman to appear before the police and the state and clear air on the issue. "An attempt is being made to deliberately defame PTC channel. PTC has documentary evidence, which proves that they have nothing to do with Nancy and Bhupinder Singh," the statement added.
