No CBSE, ICSE, State Board Exam centre in Containment Zone: MHA
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Wednesday released the notice, granting permission to conduct board examinations during the lockdown. While all the schools and colleges are to remain closed as per the revised guidelines, the notice released by MHA permits CBSE, ICSE and other State Boards, whose exams were disrupted or are pending to begin the exams. MHA, however, has released several guidelines for conducting the pending board exams that include no centers in the containment zones, and other safety measures. In the official circular released by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the MHA stated that considering the larger academic interest of the students, the various boards are permitted to conduct the pending board examinations. However, strict guidelines must be followed in an order to ensure the safety of the students and the personnel involved in the board examination process.
