Lakhimpur Kheri incident: Punjab-origin MPs from Canada and UK including UK MP Preet Kaur Gill and Canadian MP Ruby Sahota condemned the Lakhimpur Kheri violence in Uttar Pradesh where eight people, including, four farmers, were killed on Sunday. Canadian MP Tim Uppal took to Twitter and wrote: “Shocked to learn about the brazen attack on protesting farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri which killed 4 farmers and injured many others.
