Indian Army Recruitment 2024: The Indian Army has invited applications for the direct entry scheme for the posts of Havildar and Naib Subedar. 

The Indian Army has invited applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for recruitment trials of outstanding athletes who have competed in International/Junior or Senior National Championships/Khelo India Games/Youth Games between April 1, 2022, and March 31, 2024, to join the Indian Army as Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar in various sports disciplines.

Interested people can apply online for these positions before September 30, 2024. 

Indian Army Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria for Havildar post

Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification is matriculation.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between the ages of 17 ½ and 25 years old. Candidates should have completed 17 ½ on the first day of enrolment and must have not crossed 25 yrs on the last day of enrolment.

Sports Achievements: The selection will be made from those who have represented as listed below in any of the sports and games mentioned in the notification. 

Individuals must have won a medal at the junior or senior level while representing their state in national competitions, or they must have represented their country at the international level.

Individuals must have competed at the Junior/Senior level for their state or country in national or international competitions.

Individuals must have won at least one medal in the Khelo India Games and Youth Games.

Indian Army Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria for Naib Subedar

Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification is matriculation.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between the ages of 17 ½ and 25 years old. 

Sports Achievements: Individuals should win any medal at the World/Asian Championships.

Individuals should win any medal in the Asian Games.

Individuals should win any medal in the CWG/World Cup.

 India was represented twice in the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and World Cup.

 Represented India in the Olympics.
