IPL 2021: Major setback for Delhi Capitals as Axar Patel tests positive for COVID-19
With seven days to go for the IPL 2021, Delhi Capitals has suffered a huge setback as an all-rounder Axar Patel has tested positive for COVID-19.
Delhi Capitals will kick-off IPL 2021 campaign against Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium.

The sources in the Delhi Capital confirmed the development and said that Axar Patel, unfortunately, tested positive of COVID-19.
He is under isolation while all protocols were being followed, the source added.

Patel is the second player after Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Nitish Rana to test positive for coronavirus. Fortunately, Nitish Rana tested negative for COVID-19 on Thursday. He had tested positive on March 22.
