Indian Railways to run 392 “Festival Special” services ahead of festive season; Full list here
Ahead of the festive season, the Indian Railways on Tuesday approved 196 pairs (392 trains) “Festival Special” services which will be operated from October 20, 2020 and November 30, 2020. The fare for these Indian Railways' Festival Special services will be that applicable for special trains. Meanwhile, the Zonal Railways will notify its schedule well in advance. It is pertinent to mention that the Indian Railways had suspended all the passenger trains services in March due to nationwide lockdown induced by the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic. However, the national transporter has resumed its services in a staggered manner, with the Shramik Special trains helping stranded migrant workers reach their home states from May 1.
