India summons Pakistani diplomat over ceasefire violations targeting Indian civilians

Condemning the targeting of civilians by Pakistan, India summoned the Charge d-Affaires of Pakistan High Commission over a ceasefire violation by Pakistan due to which around four innocent civilians were killed. A protest has been lodged saying that Pakistan chose the festival of Diwali to create unrest in Jammu and Kashmir. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has condemned the firing along the Line of Control (LoC) targeting civilians in strongest terms. Also Read | Seven to eight Pakistan Army soldiers killed in by Indian Army According to the statement issued by MEA, the Charge d-Affaires of the Pakistan High Commission was summoned over unprovoked ceasefire violations by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir on November 13. Reportedly, Pak initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) across multiple sectors including Dawar, Keran, Uri and Naugam.
