We have prevented India from going into Coronavirus Stage 3, says Health Minister

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Friday stated the government had saved India from going into Stage 3 or the community transmission stage. He also said that India had also fared better than many countries in the fight against the coronavirus on various parameters. He added that "Testing has been made strong in the country. Today, we have completed 5.5 lakh tests and after increasing our testing frequency our positive cases are not rising." Harsh Vardhan said that "We all were worried if we are in Stage 3, but we have been able to save the country from going into Stage 3." Adding, he said that "we have all the information regarding the clusters and hotspots." While responding to the issue of faulty testing kits, Harsh Vardhan said that "We will return the testing kits to their country of origin, and we have not paid money yet. The strategies were made to use these kits in hotspots." Our recovery rate is 20.57%." "In the last 28 days, 15 districts have had no new case. Till date, there are 80 districts in the country that have reported no new cases in the last 14 days," he added. -PTC News
