India logs 19,893 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

New Delhi [India], August 4: As per the latest data shared by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India on Thursday reported 19,893 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. Today’s Covid-19 tally witnessed an uptick as on Wednesday, the Covid-19 tally stands at 17,135 cases. As per the data shared by Health Ministry, over 20,419 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours and the total number Covid-19 recoveries stands at 4,34,24,029. While the total recovery rate is at 98.50 percent, Covid-19 death toll is at 5,26,530. Covid-tally-crosses-17k-mark-4 As per the sources, the daily and weekly positivity rate stands at 4.94 per cent and 4.64 per cent respectively. As per the nationwide vaccination drive, over 205.22 crore vaccination doses have been administered. While a total of 87.67 crore tests have been conducted in the country, 4,03,006 were conducted in the last 24 hours alone.
