In another setback for common man, Amul increases price of milk
While the common man is already suffering from rising petrol and diesel prices in India, Amul has increased the price of milk which will come into effect from July 1. Amul increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter while the hike would come into effect from July 1. The price of Amul Shakti, Gold, and Taaza 500ml milk pouch has been increased by Re 1. Additionally, the cost for packaging has increased by 30 to 40 percent, the transportation cost by 30 percent, and the energy cost by 30 percent.
