Amid a shortage of COVID-19 vaccine, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday said that there was no vaccine in Dehli. While addressing the media persons, he said that there was no vaccine in Delhi. For 4 days, the vaccination centres for the 18-44 age group were shut and not just here but across India, several centres are shut, he said. Meanwhile, Delhi CM also said that "As per my knowledge, no state govt has been able to procure a single dose of vaccine till now. Vaccine companies have denied speaking to the state governments." "It's the Centre's responsibility to provide the COVID-19 vaccine, not States and if we delay it more, don't know how many more lives will be lost," Delhi CM said. He asked: "Why isn’t this country buying vaccines? We can’t leave it on states. Our country is at war against Covid-19. If Pakistan attacks India, will we leave states on their own? Will UP buy its own tanks or Delhi its own arms?" You wanted the freedom to procure vaccine. You were given the option. You did nothing. Where are the 1.3 crore vaccines that the Delhi government ordered on April 26?" "You are good for nothing.
