Unlock 4: In a major development, the Himachal Pradesh government has lifted the travel-related restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, people entering the state will no longer require a pass or online registration to enter Himachal Pradesh. However, the movement of interstate buses will remain suspended, the state government said. According to the news agency PTI, the decision was taken during a state cabinet meeting chaired by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. This is for the first time after a nationwide Covid-19 lockdown that people will not need any registration to enter Himachal Pradesh. Coronavirus situation in Himachal Pradesh

Around 419 new cases and 8 COVID deaths were reported in the state in the last 24 hours. The total number of coronavirus cases in Himachal Pradesh has increased to 10,336, while the death toll has reached 89. Today no new corona case has come to light in Himachal Pradesh Seven men and a woman succumbed to the contagion disease, Special Secretary, Health, Nipun Jindal said. 3 fatalities were reported from Mandi, two from Una and one each from Kangra, Shimla, and Solan, Jindal said. -PTC News
