Unlock 4: Himachal Pradesh lifts travel restrictions, no pass or registration required
Unlock 4: In a major development, the Himachal Pradesh government has lifted the travel-related restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, people entering the state will no longer require a pass or online registration to enter Himachal Pradesh. However, the movement of interstate buses will remain suspended, the state government said. According to the news agency PTI, the decision was taken during a state cabinet meeting chaired by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. This is for the first time after a nationwide Covid-19 lockdown that people will not need any registration to enter Himachal Pradesh. However, there has been no clarification on whether the existing condition for tourists to show a negative coronavirus report and advance hotel booking will continue or not.
