Haryana’s Jhajjar: 3 killed, 10 injured as bus collides with truck

Three people got killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a Haryana Roadways bus of Jhajjar depot and a truck on the Jhajjar-Bahujhholari road near Nauganva village on Wednesday. Five out of the injured have been referred to the PGIMS in Rohtak after their critical condition. As it reached near Patuvaas canal, a truck coming from the opposite side collided, leaving the truck driver, identified as Manjit of Birdhana village, and an unidentified passenger of the bus dead on the spot. The collision was so horrible that one side of the bus got entirely damaged and the truck hit the tree. Hearing the sound of collision and cry of the passengers, locals rushed to the spot and took the injured to civil hospital in Jhajjar. The bus driver, identified as Sanjeet, who along with four others was referred to Rohtak, succumbed to his injuries later. educareSub-inspector Satbir said, “Driver of both the vehicles died while the third deceased is yet to be identified. The reason behind the mishap is yet to be ascertained. No case has been registered as yet,”. -PTC News
