Haryana lifts all Covid-19 restrictions

Haryana Covid-19 Guidelines: Haryana government on Wednesday decided to lift all coronavirus related restrictions implemented to curb the outbreak of the deadly virus in the state. As per the latest order released by the state's Disaster Management Authority, the Chief Secretary-cum-Chairperson of the State Executive Committee Sanjeev Kaushal has directed "to remove all the restrictions issued as part of the 'mahamari alert-surakshit Haryana." No more Covid curbs in Haryana However, the Haryana government has advised people in the state to observe Covid-appropriate behavioural norms like wearing masks and social distancing. The state also witnessed 1,227 recoveries on the day. The positivity rate of the day was reported at 2.53%, while the recovery rate and fatality rate was reported to be 98.42% and 1.08% respectively. No more Covid curbs in Haryana As the covid infections in the state declined, the government had reopened schools for all classes from February 10. Earlier, the government has reopened the schools for classes 10 to 12 from February 1. The announcement was made by state Education Minister Kanwar Pal on January 25.
