Haryana: 3 of family crushed to death by train in Sonipat

Haryana: In a shocking incident, three members of a family were crushed to death by a train near Jahri Railway Fatak in Sonipat. The deceased have been identified as Gadiram, a resident of West Ram Nagar locality, his wife Sunita, and their 12-year-old son Shubham. Also Read | Neeraj Chopra’s dream comes true as he takes parents on their first flight According to information, Gadiram, along with his wife Sunita, son Shubam and daughter Pinky (15), had arrived at Jahri Railway Fatak on a bike. Also Read | Punjab: Sukhbir Singh Badal objects to Harji Grewal’s anti-national remark The family was having a conversation near Jahri Railway Fatak in Sonipat after which Gadiram noticed an oncoming train. He ran towards the railway tracks to jump before it, with the intention to commit suicide. Gadiram’s wife Sunita ran after him to save him while Shubham followed her. Unfortunately, the three were hit by the train and died, a report stated. While Pinky was screaming, people rushed to the spot and informed the Government Railway Police (GRP). On basis of the complaint filed by the deceased couple’s 15-year-old daughter, the GRP registered a case. The bodies were handed over to their relatives after autopsy examination. -PTC News
