GATE 2023: Indian Institute of Technology begins the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 on August 30. The candidates eligible for GATE 2023 should be pursuing last year of any undergraduate degree or has already completed any degree or programme. To apply and register for GATE 2023, users have to visit gate.iitk.ac.in As per the guidelines, the last date to apply for GATE examination is September 30 but candidates can also apply till October 7 with late fee submission.

How to fill GATE 2023 application form?

To fill GATE 2023 application form, candidates have to follow the steps:
  • Visit the GATE registration official website- gate.iitk.ac.in
  • Fill the required credentials
  • Fill personal and academic details
  • Upload required documents
  • Pay the application fees through online mode
  • Submit the GATE registration form
 

Documents required for GATE 2022 registration:

  • Passport-sized photograph
  • High quality image of candidate’s signature
  • Scanned copy of category certificate in PDF format
  • Copy of PwD certificate
  • Copy of certificate of Dyslexia, if applicable, in pdf format.
  • Scanned copy of any of the valid photo identity document: Aadhar-UID (preferable), Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID or Driving License. The ID should have name and date of birth of the candidate and an unique Photo ID number.

GATE 2023 registration application fee

GATE 2022 application fee is ₹850 per paper up to September 30 and ₹1,350 after that for female candidates. For SC, ST, PwD candidates, it is ₹850 per paper up to September 30 and ₹1,350 after that.
