'Thanku for saving my life': Saif Ali Khan hugs auto driver who took him to hospital
The actor met auto driver at hospital few hours before he got discharged and thanked him for saving his life.
PTC News Desk: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan met auto driver Bhajan Singh Rana who took him to the hospital and saved his life after being stabbed at his residence in Bandra on January 16. Saif hugged Rana and thanked him for his good work.
The actor met auto driver at hospital few hours before he got discharged and thanked him for saving his life. Veteran Actor and Saif Ali Khan's mother Sharmila Tagore also met Rana and extended his gratitude and gave him blessings.
Bhajan Singh Rana while recalling the fateful night said, as soon as Khan got into his autorickshaw, his first question was, "Kitna time lagega (How long will it take)" to reach the hospital?
"I was in running and suddenly I heard a sound from the gate. A lady was screaming help from near the main gate saying rickshaw ruko (stop the rickshaw). Initially, I didn't know he was Saif Ali Khan and thought of it as a normal assault case," Rana said.
The auto drives also described that inspite of sustaining severe injuries, Saif managed to get into the auto all by himself as he was accompanied by his 7 year old sone Taimur. "He (Saif Ali Khan) walked towards me himself and sat in the auto. He was in an injured state. A small child and one more person was with him. Soon after sitting in my auto, Saif Ali Khan asked me kitna time lagega. We reached the hospital in eight to ten minutes".
