Along with the pictures, Nagarjuna wrote: "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless!"
The pictures show the newly engaged pair dressed in traditional attire. Chaitanya was dressed in an off-white kurta-pyjama, and Dhulipala looked stunning in a light pink saree.
Chaitanya's separation from actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2021 sparked speculation about his romance with Dhulipala. It gained popularity in 2023, following viral pictures of the couple dining at a London restaurant. Their European vacation in June fuelled the suspicion. Despite the speculations, the couple has never formally confirmed their connection.
