'When I held you for the first time...': Sidhu Moosewala’s mother Charan Kaur pens heartfelt note on his birth anniversary
Sidhu Moosewala birth anniversary: Charan Kaur, mother of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala penned a heartfelt note for her son who would have turned 29 today (June 11).
Sidhu Moosewala, real name Shubdeep Singh Sidhu, was shot dead by some assailants last year, which sent shockwaves across the country.
The late singer's mother remembered him on his second birth anniversary and reminisced about the time she held her son for the first time.
The emotional note read, "Happy birthday son. On this day, my wishes and prayers came true when I held you for the first time. And I came to know that Akal Purakh gave me a son. Blessings, I hope you know there was a slight redness on the small feet, who did not know that these small steps had travelled the whole world while sitting in the village, and thick eyes with which you would see and recognize the truth. They did not know that you were giving the generation of Punjab a different view of the world.”
Finally, she wrote that she can feel her son's presence even when he isn't around and wants that he is happy wherever he is because she misses him the most.
Sidhu Moosewala Death
Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead while travelling in his car a year ago. He was reportedly on the way to his relative's house when the incident took place.
Sidhu Moosewala was later rushed to a nearby hospital in Mansa wherein the doctors declared him dead.
