PTC News Desk: On June 4, actor Salman Khan reported to the Mumbai Police that early on April 14, after a late night of partying, he heard gunshots.

The Mumbai Police recorded the actor's and his actor brother Arbaaz Khan's testimony in relation to the firing incident outside his home in April, an official told news agency PTI on Wednesday.

On June 4, Salman's residence in Bandra's Galaxy Apartments was visited by a four-person crime branch squad, he added. According to the official, Salman's statement was recorded for about four hours, whereas, his brother's statement was taped for over two hours.

Early on April 14, two individuals riding motorbikes shot several bullets outside Salman Khan's home.

About 150 questions were posed to Salman and Arbaaz by the crime branch investigators during the recording of their comments, the official said. The police official stated that although the gang had threatened Salman Khan in the past, its members had not attempted to extort money from the star.

The two suspected shooters in the fire incident on April 14—Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal—were later taken into custody in Gujarat. In this instance, six persons were taken into custody. Anuj Thapan, one of them, is said to have killed himself on May 1 in a police custody.
