'Saif was stabbed repeatedly': Kareena Kapoor Khan recalls fateful day of attack
Hours after the incident, terrified Ms Kapoor went to her sister Karisma's house and Mr Khan underwent surgery.
PTC News Desk: Kareena Kapoor Khan has recalled the fateful day while getting her statement recorded with the police. She told police that the intruder who attacked her husband Saif Ali Khan at their Mumbai apartment was "very aggressive" and stabbed him multiple times but didn't steal anything.
"The attacker was aggressive. I saw him attack Saif repeatedly...Our priority was to take Saif to the hospital," she told the police.
Hours after the incident, terrified Ms Kapoor went to her sister Karisma's house and Mr Khan underwent surgery.
"After the attack, I was terrified, so Karisma took me to her house," she said.
She further said that jewellery kept in the open was left untouched by the attacker. Kareena said the incident left her distressed and scared and her sister, Karisma Kapoor, took her to her house.
While recalling the ordeal, Kareen told police that the attacker first entered the couple's youngest son's room following which the house help raised an alarm. When Saif intervened to prevent the attacker from reaching their son, he was stabbed multiple times.
According to the reports, it was actor's seven year old son Taimur who accompanied a domestic help to transport Saif to hospital. "I was the first one to meet Saif Ali Khan when he came to the hospital. He was drenched in blood, but he walked in like a lion with his small child, Taimur. Saif Ali Khan is a real hero," Dr Niraj Uttamani said.
