Rapper Cardi B hospitalised, cancels concert

Rapper and singer Cardi B cancelled her ONE MusicFest concert after stating that she had been hospitalised due to a medical issue. On October 23, Cardi B assured her fans on social media that she was safe and thanked them for their understanding.

PTC News Desk: Rapper and singer Cardi B cancelled her ONE MusicFest concert after stating that she had been hospitalised due to a medical issue. On October 23, Cardi B assured her fans on social media that she was safe and thanked them for their understanding.

Cardi B wrote on Instagram,  "I am so sad to share this news, but I've been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won't be able to perform at ONE MusicFest. It breaks my heart that I won't get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang - thank you for understanding, and I'll be back better and stronger soon. Don't worry. Love you all - Cardi (sic)."

Concerned fans and followers replied to the post, sending love and wishes for a swift recovery.  

"We love you. Health first (sic)", wrote a fan, while another said, "Your health is important. Get well soon (sic)." 

Following Cardi B's statement, the organisers of ONE MusicFest issued a statement saying, "Hey #OMFFam! Unfortunately, @iamcardib announced that she is no longer available to join us this year due to ongoing health issues. Let’s all keep her in our prayers for a full recovery! We are working hard to find a replacement at this late date. More to come soon (sic)."

According to Variety, Cardi B was set to perform alongside Fantasia, Ari Lennox, Method Man & Redman, Young Nudy, Larry June, and others on Saturday, October 26. The evening was set to feature performances by Victoria Monét, GloRilla, Keyshia Cole, and Sexyy Red, among others.

Cardi B recently had her third kid with her ex-husband Offset.
