Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui, 13 others detained in Mumbai hokkah bar raid
Munawar Faruqui detained: A prominent Indian stand-up comedian and rapper, TV star carving his path in the world of humor and entertainment, Munawar Faruqui who has been recently crowned the winner of 'Bigg Boss 17' is facing significant trouble after Mumbai Police conducted a raid on a Hookah bar in Fort, Mumbai.
Following the raid, the stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui and 13 others were detained and a case has been registered against them.
As per police reports, a hookah lounge located in the Fort area of the city was found to be operating without proper authorization, leading to a raid.
During the operation, authorities confiscated ₹ 4,400 in cash along with nine hookah pots valued at ₹ 13,500.

A legal case has been registered under sections of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act.
"Though it was a bailable offence, the police gave a notice and let Faruqui go. The police are investigating the matter," the police said.
"Our team raided a hookah bar in Mumbai after getting information about tobacco being used in under the guise of herbal. After examining the things found there, a case was registered and 14 people were taken into custody. Faruqui was also among the people," an official said.
