'Gadar 2' is currently playing to packed audiences in single-screen theaters nationwide, and its exceptional box office performance continues to make waves, even while contending with the simultaneous release of Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 2'.

The movie also claimed the title of the highest-grossing Bollywood film on Independence Day, amassing a staggering Rs 55.40 crore on August 15.
Directed by Anil Sharma, 'Gadar 2' serves as a sequel to the acclaimed film released in 2001. The original featured Sunny Deol as Tara, a truck driver, and Ameesha Patel as Sakina, set against the backdrop of India's partition in 1947.
In 'Gadar 2', the narrative follows Tara Singh as he embarks on a daring mission across the border to rescue his son, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma, who has been captured in Pakistan.
