During the show, he was seen bowing before a woman and hugging her. He then raised her hand and told the crowd, "By the way, this is my mom." As he held her again, his mother shed tears. Diljit then bowed in front of another woman and shook hands with her. The singer said, "She's my sister. My family has come here today."
Diljit is a private person who does not speak much about his family. Diljit has never confirmed or discussed his rumoured marriage.
In April of this year, The Indian Express quoted one of Diljit's friends as reporting that the singer-actor is married to an Indian-American woman and has a son. The article stated that Diljit's wife and son live in the United States.
