Assam police registers FIR against Ranveer Allahabdia, Samay Rana over derogatory remarks during Indias Got Latent

PTC News Desk: Trouble seems to be mounting for Ranveer Allahabadia as Assam police has registered an FIR against the Youtuber over his remarks during 'India's Got Latent'. The Assam police has also booked comedian Samay Rana among other influencers for allegedly 'promoting obscenity and engaging in sexually explicit and vulgur discussions' on a recent episode of 'India's Got Latent'.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, in a post on X, said that YouTubers and influencers Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija and others have also been named in the FIR for promoting obscenity.

The National Human Rights Commission, in a letter to the video streaming platform, asked for the removal of videos containing his remarks.
Earlier, a formal complaint had been lodged against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, comedian Samay Raina following a series of alleged controversial and offensive remarks made on the show.
