And for me, this is a story, a character, a film, an opportunity of a lifetime! #Sarfira trailer out on 18th June. Catch Sarfira on 12th July, only in cinemas."

The trailer for 'Sarfira' is set to be released on June 18. Recently, a video featuring Akshay and Radhika Madan went viral on social media. The video shows Akshay and Radhika dancing along with two others, seemingly captured during the shooting of 'Sarfira'.

'Sarfira' is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film 'Soorarai Pottru'. The title was announced in February, and the film is scheduled for release on July 12, 2024. Akshay Kumar shared a teaser on Instagram, captioned, "Dream so Big, they call you Crazy! #Sarfira releasing only in cinemas on 12th July, 2024."

The film also stars Paresh Rawal and Seema Biswas in pivotal roles. Director Sudha Kongara expressed her excitement, stating, "With 'Sarfira,' we have aimed to craft a musical marvel that not only entertains but also leaves a lasting impact on the viewers' hearts. The soundtrack is diverse and will connect with fans across segments."

'Sarfira' tells an incredible story set in the world of startups and aviation. It aims to inspire the common man to dream big and pursue those dreams, even if the world calls them crazy. The film highlights the journey of an underdog challenging the socio-economic fabric of a system entrenched in class, caste, and power dynamics.

National award-winning director Sudha Kongara, known for 'Irudhi Suttru' (Tamil) and its Hindi version 'Saala Khadoos', helms 'Sarfira'. The film's screenplay is by Sudha and Shalini Ushadevi, with dialogues by Pooja Tolani, and music by G.V. Prakash Kumar. 'Sarfira' is produced by Aruna Bhatia (Cape of Good Films), South superstars Suriya and Jyotika (2D Entertainment), and Vikram Malhotra.

South actor Suriya, who played the lead role in 'Soorarai Pottru', will make a guest appearance in 'Sarfira'. The film is expected to be a uniquely Indian story of grit, determination, and jugaad, capturing the spirit of an underdog who dreams big despite societal constraints.
