New Delhi, July 20: Several parts of the national capital will observe moderate to heavy rain on Wednesday, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for Delhi and its adjoining areas. Earlier on Tuesday, parts of Delhi received light rainfall, bringing some respite from sultry weather conditions being observed for the last few days. Some areas of the city, such as Lodhi Road, reported traces of rainfall while East of Kailash and other south Delhi areas received light rain. Moreover, the IMD forecast indicates that the intensity of rainfall is likely to increase from Wednesday onwards.
