CRPF pays tribute to soldiers killed in 2019 Pulwama terror attack

Pulwama, February 14: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) paid tribute to jawans, who lost their lives in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, at the war memorial in Jammu and Kashmir's Lethpora on Monday. Daljit Singh Choudhary, Additional Director General (ADG), CRPF, led the paramilitary force's officers and jawans in paying their respects at the martyr's memorial here, some 25 kilometres from Srinagar. ADG Chaudhary and other CRPF personnel laid flower wreaths at the memorial, honouring the 40 CRPF jawans. We aim to maintain peace and harmony in the region." Pulwama terror attack third anniversary: This is how events unfolded on 'black day' The attack on the CRPF convoy took place in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir's on February 14, 2019. As many as 40 army personnel were killed in the attack. According to reports, a suicide bomber had rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the bus. The convoy consisted of 78 buses carrying around 2,500 soldiers from Jammu to Srinagar.
