COVID test mandatory for those attending Vidhan Sabha session

The numbers of coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in Punjab. Recently, Derabassi MLA, NK Sharma has also tested positive. In light of these increasing number of cases in the state, Secretary, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sashi Lakhanpal Mishra has issued notice on the orders of the Speaker that everyone who will be attending the one-day session of Vidhan Sabha on August 28 should get his or her coronavirus test done and should carry a coronavirus negative report. Without the certificate, no one will not be allowed to enter the premises. A letter has been issued to all the DC's and health department to get the MLA's who are attending the session, tested for coronavirus between August 25 and 27.
