Mutant coronavirus strain: Amid Covid strain in India, the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday questioned the Centre's decision to lift the temporary blanket ban on India-UK flights. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and wrote: "Centre has decided to lift the ban and start UK flights." On Wednesday evening, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Wednesday stated that the total number of cases infected with the UK’s mutant coronavirus strain now stands at 73. Among these 73 cases of Covid strain in India, NCDC New Delhi had reported 8 cases, IGIB New Delhi recorded 20, NCBG Kalyani (Kolkata) 1, NIV Pune 30, CCMB Hyderabad 3, and NIMHANS Bengaluru 11.
