Covid 19: Night curfew lifted; schools to reopen in this state

Bengaluru, January 29: The Karnataka Government on Saturday eased Covid-19 restrictions across the state and the night curfew will also be lifted from January 31.
Karnataka Education Minister BC Nagesh said all schools in Bengaluru were allowed to start offline classes from Monday with strict adherence to Covid 19-appropriate behaviour. Also, 50 per cent occupancy has been allowed in hotels, bars and pubs except cinema halls.
As many as 300 persons will be allowed at outdoor weddings while 200 members are allowed for indoor weddings. People entering the state from Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala will have to produce a Covid-19 negative certificate.
Easing Covid restrictions further, government offices across Karnataka have been allowed to work with 100 per cent capacity. Offering prayers at the temples has also been allowed. However, protests, sit-ins, religious congregations and political programmes remain prohibited.
