Coronavirus Updates by US' CDC: Fully vaccinated people in the United States can go without wearing masks and gather with other vaccinated people indoors, the federal health officials said. However, these people will still have to follow COVID-19 norms including wearing masks and maintaining social distancing in public spaces. According to the new guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Monday, fully vaccinated people have been allowed to gather with people considered at low-risk for the Covid-19. Thus, grandparents, who have been vaccinated, can now visit healthy children and their grandchildren. The CDC took to Twitter and wrote: "COVID-19 vaccines are effective at protecting you from getting sick. Based on what we know, people who have been fully vaccinated can start to do some things that they had stopped doing because of the pandemic." As per the new SOPs, If you’ve been fully vaccinated, you can gather indoors with fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask. Also, you can gather indoors with unvaccinated people from one other household (for example, visiting with relatives who all live together) without masks, unless any of them or anyone they live with has an increased risk for severe illness from the novel coronavirus.
