Punjab: 11 coronavirus patients recovered in last 24 hours; State COVID-19 count 251

11 COVID-19 patients recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours across the state, according to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus (COVID 19) cases in Punjab stands at 251 while the death toll remains at 16. As per the media bulletin, Mohali remains the worst-hit district with the highest number of coronavirus cases at 62 followed by Jalandhar at 48 and Patiala at 31. Pathankot has reported 24 cases so far. Nawanshahr has shown brilliant recovery. A total of 17 COVID 19 patients out of 19 have cured and discharged. On the other hand, one patient died due to coronavirus. Nawanshahr, which reported 19 cases has only one patient left. Meanwhile, Jaskirat Kaur, daughter of late Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa, resident of the Lohian Khas, discharged on Tuesday from Civil Hospital Jalandhar, after complete recovery from coronavirus. Likewise, one patient from Kapurthala recovered 2 from Jalandhar (including Jaskirat Kaur), 1 from Ludhiana, 6 from Mohali and one from Fatehgarh Sahib. Coronavirus in India

The Ministry of Health and Family Affairs on Tuesday stated that the total number of coronavirus positive cases rise to 18,985 in India (including 15122 active cases, 3260 cured/ discharged/ migrated people and 603 deaths. -PTC News
