Punjab COVID-19 cases cross 1300 after Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Fazilka, Ludhiana report fresh cases

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab crossed 1300 after fresh COVID-19 cases were reported from Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Muktsar, Fazilka and Ludhiana. According to the information, Muktsar reported 15 new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking the total tally in the district to 64. Meanwhile, Gurdaspur reported 42 new cases, taking the total in the district to 78. Thirty-eight of the new cases are the pilgrims who had recently returned from Sri Hazur Sahib in Nanded in Maharashtra. They had gone there to pay obeisance and had been living together at the shrine complex. Likewise, Jalandhar reported 9 new cases of the COVID-19, taking the total in the district to 137. Similarly, Fazilka reported 32 fresh cases of the deadly disease taking the district count to 36, while Ludhiana reported 14 new cases of coronavirus. Ludhiana tally now stands at 124. Coronavirus in Chandigarh

The total number of coronavirus cases in Chandigarh has increased to 111 after 9 new cases were reported from the Bapu Dham colony in Sector 26, Sector 30 and Dhanas on Tuesday morning. According to the information, the Bapu Dham colony has reported 7 new cases of coronavirus while Sector 30 and Dhanas reported a single case each. -PTC News
