Coronavirus cases in Punjab rise to 3267; death toll 71; recovered 2443

The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 3267 after 127 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Monday evening. The death toll in the state has increased to 71 after four new deaths were reported from Amritsar on Monday. According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, Amritsar reported 20 new cases of coronavirus while 23 new cases were reported from Jalandhar. Ludhiana reported 33 new cases each while Sangrur reported 15 new cases of coronavirus. Patiala reported 10 new cases while 11 new cases were reported from Mohali. Pathankot, Kapurthala, Faridkot, Hoshiarpur and Ferozepur reported two new cases each while one new case was reported from Fatehgarh Sahib, SBS Nagar, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur, Moga and Ropar. Of 87, 64 were from Amritsar, 2 each from Gurdaspur, Pathankot and SBS Nagar, 7 from Faridkot, one each from Ropar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Bathinda, Fazilka and Ferozepur. Corona virus | 1523 victims recovered in last one week in Haryana Currently, Amritsar is on the top of the tally with 633 cases of coronavirus followed by Ludhiana at 387, Jalandhar at 347, and Gurdaspur at 169. Tarn Taran has reported 168 cases of coronavirus while Mohali has reported 175 cases of COVID-19. Meanwhile, the Coronavirus tally of Pathankot has increased to 145 while the number of coronavirus cases in Hoshiarpur has spiked to 141.
