Coronavirus Punjab Lockdown News: In the wake of rising coronavirus cases in the district, the Ludhiana DC on Sunday imposed a lockdown in two areas of the district. The District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma informed that due to the high number of COVID-19 positive cases in the areas, Urban estate phase 1, Dugri, and Urban estate phase 2, Dugri, Ludhiana, have been declared as containment zones.
