Coronavirus Punjab: Captain Amarinder Singh announces revised timings for night curfew

Coronavirus Punjab: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday announced the revised timings for night curfew in various districts of the state have been changed. The night curfew has been imposed in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala, Mohali, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, and Kapurthala, and Ropar. Earlier, the night curfew was imposed in Fatehgarh Sahib, Mohali, Jalandhar, Nawanshahr, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, and Patiala from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am. Punjab Chief Minister named the districts that reported more than 100 cases on Wednesday. Meanwhile, he also announced that he would announce more curbs in the state to contain the spread of coronavirus. Captain said that he would chair a review meeting after which it would be decided to whether impose weekend lockdowns on restrictions on gatherings.
